Happy Birthday to ... ME!

Don't buy me a present. Buy my book!

No subtlety. That's my birthday present to myself. :)

Happy Birthday - mine's next week. Yay for November birthdays - although I'm always reminded of Jo March in "Little Women," who says, when someone comments on how miserable a month November is, "That's the reason I was born in it."

And you're learning a valuable lesson. You can't be subtle about anything concerning publishing.

  4. Thanks Myf, Mel and Jordan! And Melanie--I am in the infancy of my PR prostitution!

Gals, here's something I'd like to share. Today, a little birthday surprise came when, looking for a visual to post, I did a google image search on the phrase "happy birthday to me." I found a picture that made me feel young and sexy. Consider it a party favor: Click at your own risk.

  7. Happy birthday Ellen! And I think I'm blind after viewing that image you linked!

Sorry I missed your reading the other night, but I'll catch the next one. (So did Clooney ever show? There was this rumor going round a while back...)

And if you think I'm pushing my book hard now, hold onto your seat ...
