Bummer. I was planning on doing some work there today, but as I arrived the custodian was putting up that sign. I asked what the building emergency was, and he explained that they had found a snake in the nonfiction section. I was stunned. I had no idea Ann Coulter even
did public library appearances.

Ha! That just made me laugh out loud.
And um, snake is too kind a word.

P.S. The website is just gorgeous, Ellen. I know I've seen it before but I get really excited every time I visit and just wanted you to know.
You are so funny!
Perhaps she slithered on over to the Horror section!
Just stopped in to say congratulations on your foreign rights deal, and the great review on PW.
The library may be closed, but glad there's no building emergencies around here...
Ack. Blogger has been eating my comments lately. I swear I responded a few days ago to Robin, Susan and Michele, but it's gone. Anyway, trust me that I had said something very gracious and hilarious that I can no longer remember.
Seriously, thank you so much Rob and Susan. Michelle, I wouldn't be all surprised if you were right! Patry, appreciate those good wishes!!
Hilarious! And scary too. :)
Hilarious! That woman IS a snake, no doubt about it. Have you heard Margaret Cho's rant about her? It's fantastic.

Ba-dum-dum!
Oh let's not insult snakes! They don't deserve the comparison. ;)
Our board of supervisors member in LA County spent hundreds of thousands of dollars photocopying the writings of Ann Coulter and distributing them to his bigoted constituents. Isn't that sweet? What a wonderful thing for an elected official to do.
