Autistic Boy Scores

If this doesn't make you weep, you're made of tougher stuff than I.

It made me weep for sure. I'm devastated but in a good way. It's beautiful. Thank you, Ellen.

Thanks, Myf, G-man, and Sue. Good to know I'm not the only one so affected by this.

G-man, glad you found your way here, and bravo to you, your son and everyone who loved him. I know what it's like to help these wonderkids clear hurdles. Remember to bring plenty of tissues to the graduation!

Jason's a homeboy (Rochester, NY), and we couldn't be prouder. This boy's accomplishments are not only phenomenal, but inspiring to all those with disabilities.

My sweet Sarah Rose is mildly autistic (high-functioning Asperger's), and I know what these kids are capable of, if only given the chance.

That is absolutely fantastic!

Bet Coach wishes he did that at the beginning of the season!

Those are the real stories that balance out the bad news.

Lori, I didn't know about your daughter. Did you know my oldest son has HFA? And I agree--we can't make any assumptions about what these kids are capable of. They surprise us every day.

Katie and Kristy ... thanks for your comments. Glad it moved you, too.
